Tum Arun ho 😃

It was a day on which we planned for a supplier visit. Four of us went to Silvassa by Vande Bharat Express from Ahmedabad to Silvassa. As per the plan, we visited one supplier on day 1 and stayed in a resort that night. On day 2, we visited another supplier, and after completing all the formalities, we planned to return. That day, as per the plan, five of us came back to Vapi railway station to Ahmedabad. You might be thinking, there were only four people who visited — so where did the fifth person come from? 😃 Actually, I forgot to mention that on day 2, another person joined us for the supplier visit as she was occupied with some work on day 1. Back to Vapi station... We boarded the train and sat in our seats. After some time, the TTE came for the ticket check. Our seat numbers were 60 to 64. When the TTE was checking tickets somewhere around seat number 40, Kunal, who was seated on my left side, said, "Tum Arun ho, Tum Arun ho." I said yes. Then, a few moments later, the...

Reflections from a Bus Window

Today while going to the office by bus, the weather was cloudy and it started raining heavily. I was sitting in a corner seat, enjoying the beautiful view through the window. The rain, the silence inside, and the world outside felt so peaceful. I was reading Sita: Warrior of Mithila by Amish Tripathi — the second book from the Ramchandra series. While flipping through the pages, I came across a conversation between Sita and her mother, Sunaina. It really made me stop and think. Sunaina says to Sita something like — " You will need to be mature and pragmatic. You must use your heart to decide the destination, but use your head to plot the journey. People who only listen to their hearts usually fail. On the other hand, people who only use their heads tend to be selfish. Only heart can make you think of others before yourself. For the sake of dharma, you must aim for equality and balance in society. Perfect equality can never be achieved but we must try to reduce inequality as much ...

The Greatest Good Turned into the Greatest Evil !

Just imagine—there was a time when this one thing was the dream of so many. People worked hard for it, saved up for it, believing it would change their lives in ways they couldn’t even imagine. It was a symbol of progress, freedom, and endless opportunity—a key to a better, more connected world. But now, that very same thing has become something entirely different. What was once a source of empowerment has quietly transformed into something much darker. The very thing that promised to make our lives better is now the source of so many problems—problems that seem to follow us wherever we go, problems we can't seem to escape. We all know it. We’ve become so dependent on it that it feels impossible to let go. So, what is this thing? It’s the INTERNET. Yes, the very thing we once couldn’t live without—now, the greatest good has turned into the g...

The Beauty of the Unpredictable : Embrace Life’s Surprises

Think of a tiny seed. At first, it seems so small and ordinary. But inside it, there’s a whole world waiting to grow. We can't tell what it will become just by looking at it. And that’s what makes it so amazing. Our lives are just like that seed. We don’t know what’s ahead of us. We can’t predict what tomorrow, next year, or even the next moment will bring. If we knew everything, life wouldn’t be as exciting. We’d spend all our time worrying about what’s coming—our struggles, our end. But it's the unknown that makes life beautiful. Imagine if you knew exactly when and how your life would end. It would be hard to enjoy the little moments, the laughter, the joy, because you’d be focused on that final day. The mystery of life is what gives it meaning. It’s the surprise, the unexpected twists, and the chance to grow that make it worth living. So, let go of trying to predict the future. Live like a tree growing strong, full of possibilities you can’t yet see. Embrace the unknown wit...

Who Are We? The Mystery Within

Are we truly human, or is there something deeper driving our existence? We ask big questions about life, but the truth of who we are remains a mystery. Perhaps that’s what makes life so exciting—the search for answers we can't fully grasp. Inside each of us is a hidden power shaping our thoughts, emotions, and actions. We feel it, but we can’t see or fully understand it. What if this power is like the Big Bang—constantly evolving and expanding, just like the universe? We are more than just a body; we are a universe in motion, full of untapped potential. The beauty of life is that we’re always growing, always discovering. The answers are out there, and within us—waiting to be uncovered. Keep searching. Keep evolving. The journey is everything. bikash dalabehera:)
